IKD urology dept presents 16 research papers in UROCON 2022

PESHAWAR: The 22nd International Urology Conference (UROCON 2022) was held in the historic city of Lahore on November 25-27, wherein the Department of Urology, Institute of Kidney Diseases (IKD) team vibrantly participated and presented 16 research papers and key note lectures on the different aspects of urology.
Internationally acclaimed urologist, researcher, medical educationist and Associate Professor, IKD Dr Liaqat Ali presented 4 state-of-the-art lectures in plenary sessions of the conference among international faculty. He also conducted the semifinals and final of All Pakistan Urology Quiz Competition for postgraduate residents for the 5th consecutive time.
During the conference, the IKD team under the guidance of Dr Liaqat Ali presented 4 research papers on renal stone, 3 on renal tumor, 2 on bladder tumor, 1 on trauma, 2 on infections, 3 on medical education and 1 on new Nano catheters.
The multiple academic, clinical, research and artistic presentations and activities during the conference were widely acknowledged and appreciated by the participants, organizers, partners and other stakeholders.
