PhD scholar Zenab Faizullah defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Zenab Faizullah, a research scholar of the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar (UoP), has successfully defended her dissertation and declared eligible for the award of PhD degree in the subject of Economics.
A function was organized at the Department of Economics, UoP, here on Friday, which was followed by a question-answer session wherein she defended her thesis by answering the questions of the audience in a scholarly way. The event was attended by faculty, research scholars and students as well as people from different walks of life.
The scholar completed her study under the title “The dynamic effects of fiscal decentralization on Economic Growth: role of Macroeconomic Stability and Governance”. Prof Dr Zilakat Khan Malik, Department of Economics, UoP, served as her supervisor, while Dr Naila Nazir, Chairperson, Department of Economics, UoP, and Dr Azam Khan, Professor, Department of Economics, AWKUM, were included in the examination committee.
