IKD team arranges medical camp for flood affectees

CHARSADDA: Renowned urologist and Associate Professor, Institute of Kidney Diseases (IKD) Peshawar Dr Liaqat Ali along with the young doctors of IKD and students of the Khyber Girls Medical College (KGMC) arranged a medical and relief camp for the flood affected victims of the district here on Friday.
The IKD team treated 1180 patients and distributed food package to 800 families at the house of Barrister Arshad Abdullah. Clothes and other necessary items were also distributed among 300 women and children. The team was comprised of Dr Naveed Ahmed Khan, Dr Malik Irfan, Dr Ikram and Dr Raza Muhammad.
The medical and relief initiative of the IKD team under the leadership of Dr Liaqat Ali was highly appreciated by the district administration, provincial government, political parties and the people of Charsadda.
