Mamoona Inam defends M.Phil thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Mamoona Inam of the Center for Omic Sciences, Islamia College University (ICU) Peshawar has successfully defended her thesis and declared eligible for the award of M.Phil degree in the subject of Genetics.
The thesis defense function of the scholar was organized at the ICU here on Wednesday. The function was followed by a question-answer session wherein she defended her research work by answering the questions of the participants in a scholarly way.
The title of her study is: “Whole exome sequencing data of limb-girdle muscular dystrophy in a family from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” which she completed under the supervision of Dr Musharraf Jelani, Associate Professor, Center for Omic Sciences, ICU.
Apart from faculty members, research scholars and students of the university, the thesis defense function was attended by a number of people belonging to different walks of life.
