Ph.D scholar Sajid Ali defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Sajid Ali, a research scholar of the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP) has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis here on Wednesday.
A function was organized in this regard at the UAP wherein he defended his research work by answering the questions of the participants in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Agronomy.
The title of the study of the scholar is: “Agronomic Biofortification with Zinc and Iron for the Improvement of Wheat Yield and Quality” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Shahenshah, Assistant Professor, Department of Agronomy, UAP, while it was examined by renowned professors in Turkey and South Korea.
Apart from faculty members, research scholars, students of the university the thesis defense function of the scholar was also attended by a number of people belonging to different walks of life.
