Ph.D scholar Alamgir defends thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Alamgir Khan of the Department of Rural Sociology, University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP) has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis here on Tuesday.
A function was held in this regard at the UAP in which he defended his research work by answering the questions of the participants in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Rural Sociology. Faculty members, research scholars, students and a number of people from different walks of life attended the event.
The topic of the thesis of the scholar is: “Perception of tribal people about the merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Intikhab Alam, Lecturer, Department of Rural Sociology, UAP, while it was examined by several eminent professors of Canada and New Zealand.
