Scholar Gulzar Ullah defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: Gulzar Ullah, a research scholar of the Department of Horticulture, University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP) has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Horticulture.
The thesis defense function was organized at the UAP here on Monday. The function was followed by a question-answer session wherein he properly answered the questions of the participants. Faculty members, research scholars, students and people from different walks of life participated on the occasion.
The title of the study of the scholar is: “Dissecting the Heat Stress Responses and Effects on the Morphology of Tomato Varieties Employing High Temperature Conditioning and Nutrients Management” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Gohar Ayub, Associate Professor, Department of Horticulture, UAP, while it was examined by well-known professors in the USA and Japan.
