Scholar Riaz Ahmad defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: Riaz Ahmad, a research scholar of the Department of Zoology, Islamia College University (ICU) Peshawar has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis here on Wednesday.
A function was held in this regard at the ICU in which he defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the audience in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Zoology.
The topic of his study is: “Phylogenetic characterization of Vespidae from Malakand Region” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Muhammad Zahid, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, ICU, while Dr Sanaullah Khan and Dr Abdul Hameed Khan of the University of Peshawar served as his examiners.
The thesis defence function of the scholar was attended by the Chairman, Department of Zoology, ICU, Prof Dr Ali Muhammad Yousafzai, faculty members, research scholars, students and a number of people from different walks of life.
