Scholar Sohail Khan defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Mohammad Sohail Khan of the Department of Rural Development, Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP), has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Rural Development.
In this regard, a function was organised here on Saturday at the UAP. During the function, the scholar defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the participants in a well-managed and proper way.
The topic of his study is: “Problems in Rural Education Governance and Determinants of School Performance in Rural Islamabad” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Malik Inayatullah Jan, Associate Professor, IDS, UAP, while it was evaluated by renowned professors in Turkey and Spain.
The Director, IDS, UAP, Prof Dr Himayatullah Khan, the Chairman, Department of Agricultural Extension Education and Communication, Prof Dr Khalid Nawab, Dr Malik Shafi, Dr Gohar Ayub and other faculty members, research scholars and students attended the thesis defence function.
