Ph.D scholar Inayat Khattak defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Inayat Khattak, a research scholar of the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP), has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis here on Friday.
The thesis defence function was arranged at the UAP which was followed by a question-answer session wherein he defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the audience in a well-managed way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Agronomy.
The scholar presented his study under the title: “Enhancing Maize Productivity through Management of Planting Methods, Phosphorus Levels and Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi”. Dr Inamullah Khan, Associate Professor, Department of Agronomy, UAP, served as his supervisor while the dissertation was evaluated by eminent professors of Italy and Japan.
Apart from the Chairman, Department of Agronomy, UAP, Prof Dr Muhammad Akmal, Prof Dr Habib Akbar, Dr Gohar Ayub, Dr Amanullah, Dr Asim, Dr Ahmad Khan, Dr Asad and other faculty members and research scholars, the function was also attended by a number of people from different walks of life.
