Shahid Jadoon defends Ph.D thesis from HUST

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Shahid Jadoon of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) Wuhan, China, has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Material Chemistry.
A function was held at the HUST here on Saturday in which he defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the participants in a scholarly way. Faculty members, research scholars and students as well as people from different walks of life attended the thesis defence function.
The title of the study is: “MOFs derived Low Platinum nanocatalyst for Oxygen reduction in fuel cells” which he completed under the supervision of Prof Xia Bao Yu. During the research, the scholar published 26 research articles and one patent while he was given different awards for his outstanding research work.
Here, it is worth mentioning that Shahid Jadoon belongs to Gabai village of Gadoon area, district Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His family members, relatives and friends have congratulated him for the achievement and said that it was a very proud moment for them to have a foreign qualified Ph.D in the area.
