Ph.D scholar Aftab Alam defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Aftab Alam, a research scholar of the Department of Mathematics, Islamia College University (ICU), Peshawar has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis here on Monday.
The thesis defence function of the scholar was held at the ICU which was followed by a question-answer session wherein he answered the questions of the participants in a well-managed and proper way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Mathematics.
The topic of his research work is: “Flow Over Porous Stretching/Sharing Surface of Variable Thickness” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Dil Nawaz Khan, Assistant Prof, Department of Mathematics, ICU, while Prof Dr Amjad Ali and Dr Marjan Uddin of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar served as his external examiners.
Apart from the faculty members, research scholars and students of the university, the thesis defence function of the scholar was also attended by a number of people belonging to different walks of life.
