Ph.D scholar Farzana defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Farzana Begum, a research scholar of the Department of Horticulture, Agriculture University Peshawar (AUP) has successfully defended her Ph.D thesis here on Saturday.
A function was held in this regard at the AUP which was followed by a question-answer session wherein she answered the questions of the participants in a scholarly way and she was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Horticulture.
The title of her research work is: “Producing quality Okra Seeds through Nutritional and Crop Management Practices” which she completed under the supervision of Dr Gohar Ayub, Associate Professor, Department of Horticulture, AUP, whereas it was examined by many well known professors in America and China.
Apart from the faculty members, research scholars and students of the university, the thesis defence function of the scholar was attended by a number of people belonging to the different fields of life.
