Scholar Nasir Afridi defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: Nasir Khan Afridi, a research scholar of the Department of Urdu, Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology (SUIT), Peshawar has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Urdu.
The thesis defence function of the scholar was held at the SUIT here on Friday in which he defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the participants in a well-managed and proper way.
The topic of his dissertation is: “The educational and literary services of Prof Dr Riaz Majeed” which he completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Muhammad Imtiaz and Dr Ahsan-ul-Haq, while it was examined by several eminent professors in the country.
The function was attended by Prof Dr Yousuf Khushk, Chairman, Academy of Letters, Islamabad, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Vice Chancellor, SUIT, Registrar Muhammad Nasir, Deputy Registrar Muhammad Ilyas, Prof Dr Khalid Khan, Chairman, Department of Urdu, research scholars, students and people from different walks of life.
