Muhammad Adil defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Muhammad Adil of the Department of Botany, University of Peshawar (UoP) has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Botany.
In this regard, a function was held at the UoP here on Thursday in which he defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the audience in a well-managed and proper way. The thesis defence function was attended by faculty members, research scholars, students and people from different fields of life.
The topic of his thesis is: “Pharmacognostic, phytochemicals and biological investigations of Achillea millefolium and Chaerophyllum villosum” which he completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Ghulam Dastagir, Chairman, Department of Botany, UoP, while Prof Dr Humayun Khan and Prof Dr Naveed Akhtar served as his examiners.
