Ph.D scholar Farida defends thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Farida Bibi of the Department of Horticulture, Agriculture University Peshawar (AUP) has successfully defended her thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Horticulture.
The thesis defence function of the scholar was arranged at the AUP here on Thursday, wherein she defended her research work successfully by answering the questions of the participants in a well-managed and proper way.
The title of her thesis is, “Response of Tomato crop to various concentrations of plant growth regulators and Calcium sources”, which she completed under the supervision of Dr Muhammad Sajid, Associate Professor, Department of Horticulture, AUP, while it was examined by eminent professors in China and Korea.
The Dean, Faculty of Crop Production Sciences, AUP Prof Dr Fida Mohammad, Chairman, Department of Horticulture Prof Dr Abdur Rab, faculty members, research scholars, students and people from the different fields of life attended the event.
