Meeting of Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry held

MARDAN: A meeting of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) held here on Monday wherein the issues of the traders regarding property tax and professional tax were briefly discussed with the officials of Excise and Taxation Department.
The meeting was chaired by Zahir Shah, President, MCCI, while executive members of the MCCI, Haji Mohammad Hussain, Mohabbat Shah, Ghulam Sarwar, Sher Mohammad and Mohammad Saleem were among the participants.
Addressing the meeting, the President MCCI Zahir Shah elaborated the issues of the traders in the city in detail and said that businessmen were ready to cooperate with the government in boosting up the economy but they were facing a number of problems and the concerned authorities should address them on priority basis.
Haji Arshad Saeed of the Excise and Taxation Department, Mardan region while responding to the participants of the meeting stated that all the traders would get full cooperation for resolving their issues related to Excise and Taxation Office and the traders would not face any difficulty or issue in future.
