LAKKI MARWAT: The Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Saturday that the rulers of Pakistan had legalized the India’s occupation of Kashmir.
He expressed these views while addressing the late Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Amanullah Conference held at Sarai Naurang. “We are not talking about recognising Israel, we are talking about Israel’s occupation of the Arabs,” he said.
He stated that the Muslim Ummah was an orphan but the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and the people of Pakistan would stand by it, adding that incompetent and selected rulers were imposed on Pakistan that’s why the national economy had been jeopardised.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the government arrested the Jamiat workers in Multan but it could not keep them in jail for long time and they reached the venue, adding that every institution should play its due role under the constitution so that Pakistan can stand in the rank of developed countries. He further said that he along with his party workers would participate in the PDM meeting in Lahore.
Earlier, JUI leader Samiullah Mujahid presented few resolutions on blasphemous caricatures in France, political workers arrest in Multan, education institutions opening, security arrangement for the party leader, Fazlur Rehman and expediting work pace on the ongoing project of Kurram Tangi Dam. The party leaders of Bannu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and Peshawar also attended the conference.
