Prophet (PBUH) has offered complete code of life: Prof Shahana

SWABI: The Vice Chancellor Women University Swabi Prof Dr Shahana Urooj Kazmi has said that the life history of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was the cure for every disease, the solution to every problem and the answer to every challenge.
She was addressing the Eid Milad-un-Nabi ceremony organized by Women University Swabi here on the other day. She said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to worship so deeply and dedicatedly that his feet would become swollen.
“When the Companions saw the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in this state, they would say that when Allah Almighty has declared him innocent then why he works so hard in worship?” she maintained.
She added that human history was unable to give an example of the answer given by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) to this, saying that Islam made knowledge obligatory and opened its doors to both men and women and removed all obstacles and restrictions in its path.
“Islam has paid special attention to the education and training of girls,” she opined, adding that Islam addressed problems of both men and women and it had made everyone bound by worship, morality and Shari'ah which was not possible without knowledge.
She maintained that without knowledge, a woman could not protect her rights or fulfill the responsibilities that Islam had imposed on her, so the education of men as well as women was very important.
