PVMC accreditation team visits Agriculture University

PESHAWAR: The accreditation team of the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) visited the Faculty of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences (FAH & VS), Agriculture University Peshawar (AUP) here on Wednesday and looked into the status of the accreditation of the College of Veterinary Sciences (CVS).
The accreditation team was headed by Prof Dr Masood Rabbani, President PVMC, whereas Dr Arshad Malik, Member PVMC, Dr Sher Muhammad, Vice President PVMC, Dr Iqbal Khattak, Member PVMC, Dr Alam Zeb, Director General Livestock and Dr Islam, Director Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) were among the team members.
During the visit, the President PVMC were given detailed briefing while he highlighted the criteria for accreditation and expressed satisfaction over the establishment of the CVS at the AUP. Meanwhile, the team also met the Vice Chancellor, AUP Prof Dr Jehan Bakht and discussed different matters with him.
