Workshop on equality, diversity and tolerance held at UoC

CHITRAL: The University of Chitral (UoC) in collaboration with Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), organized a two-day collaborative workshop and debate on “Equality, Diversity and Tolerance”, concluded here on Thursday.
A press release has been issued here on Friday, according to which the prime objective of the workshop was to promote the concept of peace and harmony among the university students.
The workshop concluded that the path to peace was through embodying the fundamental human rights, specifically, strict adherence to the rule of law and informing the public about civic education, good governance and public accountability. The workshop also stressed on the provision of equal rights to all the citizens of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the participants discussed and highlighted the ways to promote and ensure women empowerment in the country. Shields and certificates were distributed among the participants on the last day of the workshop.
