Ayub Lala defends M.Phil thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Ayub Lala of the Center of Biotechnology and Microbiology, University of Peshawar (UoP) has successfully defended his M.Phil thesis.
A function was held at the Center of Biotechnology and Microbiology, UoP here on Thursday. The event was followed by a question-answer session, in which he properly answered the questions of the participants and he was declared eligible for the award of M.Phil degree in the subject of Biotechnology.
The title of his research work is: “Assessment of Mutation in Gyrase A and B Genes of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Isolated from Post-operative Wound Samples of Tertiary Care Hospitals, Peshawar” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Ibrar Khan, Associate Professor, Center of Biotechnology and Microbiology, UoP, while it was examined by many well-known professors of Pakistan.
Apart from faculty members, research scholars and students, the function was also attended by a number of people from different walks of life. Here, it is to be mentioned that Ayub Lala is a well-known student leader and the former President of People’s Students Federation, UoP.
