Dr Zia ul Haq awarded RCP fellowship

PESHAWAR: Prof Dr Zia ul Haq, Vice Chancellor, Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar has been awarded the fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), London.
A press release issued by his office here on Monday, says that he has earned this prestigious award at the age of just 40 and being the youngest Vice Chancellor, he has already proved his determination in the fields of medical education and research as he has been conferred with Lifetime Achievement Award 2017, HEC Best University Teacher Award 2018 and HEC Best Young Researcher Award 2019 in recognition of his outstanding services.
Prof Zia ul Haq has done MBBS and MPH from Pakistan and Ph.D in Public Health from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. Apart from this, he has authored and published a number of research papers and articles, and is known as the best academician, researcher and expert in the field of public health.
The conferment of the RCP fellowship with distinction has been warmly welcomed and appreciated by his family, relatives, friends, colleagues and students and all of them have congratulated and wished him best of luck for this exciting opportunity and his future endeavors.
