Independence Day celebrated at Pakistan Study Center

PESHAWAR: The 73rd Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated at the Pakistan Study Center (PSC), University of Peshawar (UoP) with patriotic fervor and zest and zeal.
In this regard, a function was arranged at the PSC on Friday following the safety measures and precautionary protocol of Covid-19. Director, PSC, UoP Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam hoisted the national flag on the building of the Centre, whereas the participants prayed for the integrity, progress and prosperity of the homeland.
Here, it is to be mentioned that due to the prevailing situation of Corona pandemic, a limited number of people were invited to the event. While addressing the participants Prof Fakhr-ul-Islam said that it was a dire need of the time to work hard for the development of Pakistan, therefore, everyone should devote himself/herself for this noble cause.
