Humayun Huma’s autobiography declared best book of year

PESHAWAR: The Abaseen Arts Council Peshawar has declared the Dr Humayun Huma's autobiography ‘Da Jwandoon Dagha Qissa Da’ as the best Pashto book of the year.
In this regard, the Abaseen Arts Council Peshawar has issued a notification some days ago, according to which the autobiography of renowned columnist, poet, playwright and critic Dr Humayun Huma has been declared as the best book of the year in Pashto category and awarded with cash prize of Rs 10000 and a certificate of appreciation and recognition.
Dr Humayun Huma while commenting on his achievement said that he was thankful to the Abaseen Arts Council as it had always been very kind to writers, poets and artists of the province. He further stated that he also thanked his readers who liked and loved his autobiography and he hoped that the readers would also love his upcoming new books.
Meanwhile, people from different walks of life have congratulated Dr Humayun Huma on declaration of his autobiography as the best book of the year and said that he was like a candle light that always inspired and guided the people, especially the young generation with his writings, poetry and thinking and of course it was a great public service.
