Dr Mahboob appreciates resolution on teaching Quran at universities

PESHAWAR: Chairman, Mahboob Medical Institute, Peshawar, Dr Mahboob-ur-Rehman has appreciated the National Assembly for unanimously passing a resolution to teach the Holy Quran with translation at the universities of the country.
In a press release issued on Tuesday Dr Mahboob said that reading the Urdu translation of the Holy Quran would open new avenues of knowledge and wisdom for the present and upcoming generations, adding that it was a historical step taken by the present National Assembly and everyone should laud it.
He further stated that Nazria-e-Quran must be an integral part of the curriculum in order to educate the young generation about the complete code of life, adding that now there was need for the implementation of the resolution in letter and spirit by the universities throughout the country.
