Prof Ahmad Saljoqi appointed as Dean at AUP

PESHAWAR: Prof Dr Ahmad-ur-Rahman Saljoqi has been appointed as Dean, Faculty of Crop Protection Sciences, University of Agriculture, Peshawar (AUP).
A notification has been issued in this regard by the competent authority on Friday. According to the notification, he will serve on this position for the tenure of three years.
Prior to this appointment, he was Chairman of the Department of Plant Protection as well as having the additional charges of the posts of Provost and Chief Proctor at the AUP. He has a strong academic background and sound administrative and teaching experience in higher education.
He has done Ph.D from England and Post-Doctorate from China, whereas he is the author of around 120 research papers which have been published in internationally recognised and reputed journals. Apart from this, a big number of M.Sc and Ph.D scholars have also completed their research work under his supervision.
