PhD scholar Shazia defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Shazia Kanwal, a research scholar of the Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of Peshawar (UoP) has successfully defended her thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Education.
A function was arranged at the IER, UoP on Tuesday under the chair of Prof Dr Arshad Ali, Director, IER, UoP, in which the Ph.D scholar defended her research work, whereas the function was followed by a question-answer session in which she answered the questions of the participants in a proper way. Apart from faculty members, research scholars and students, a number of people from different walks of life participated in the event as well.
The title of her study is: “An analysis of teachers emotional intelligence and its impact on teaching effectiveness” which she completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Hafiz Muhammad Inamullah of the IER, UoP, whereas it was examined by Prof Dr Sarwar of the University of Sargodha, Dr Hameed Ullah of the Riphah International University Islamabad and Dr Parveen of the IER, UoP.
After the defence function, the participants congratulated the scholar and expressed the hope that her research work would be proved more useful for the progress and development of the society, if the government and the authorities concerned pay it their due attention to go ahead for its implementation in a true sense.
