Hospital admin alleged for ill-treatment of deceased nurse with Corona

PESHAWAR: Anwar Sultana, General Secretary, Provincial Nurses Association (PNA), has alleged the KDA Hospital Kohat’s administration that due to its unsatisfactory and ill-treatment of a senior staff nurse who was suffering from Corona passed away few days ago in the hospital.
Anwar Sultana, GS, PNA, in a press statement said that being a part of the healthcare system the hospital administration did not even bother to treat its own staff properly who was doing her job with enthusiasm and dedication amid the Corona outbreak, adding that the Provincial Nurses Association and the District Nurses Association Kohat would register FIR against the hospital administration as it is fully responsible for the negligence in the treatment of their fraternity member.
She stated that the government should take notice of this incident on immediate basis and confer a high level award to the deceased nurse who passed away in the line of duty – suffered from Corona while performing her duty in the Corona ward, adding that the government should also grant a handsome financial support to her family as she sacrificed her life for saving others’ lives and of course it is a great job.
