TESCO decides to provide uninterrupted electricity

PESHAWAR: The Tribal Electric Supply Company (TESCO) has decided the rehabilitation and improvement of transmission lines in the newly-merged districts to ensure the better and uninterrupted electric supply to all consumers.
A high level meeting of TESCO was held in this regard at WAPDA House on Thursday, which was presided over by the Chief Executive, TESCO, Muhammad Akram Mirza, whereas field officers of the company were also in attendance.
All the aspects of power supply to ex-Fata were discussed in the meeting, while it was stressed to expedite the installation of new meters and proper monitoring of the existing meters to overcome the power theft.
The Chief Executive, TESCO, Akram Mirza told the meeting that the process of electric supply to commercial and industrial consumers would immediately be materialized, adding that TESCO would play its due role in the development of newly-merged tribal districts.
He also directed the field staff to ensure the scheduled power supply to all consumers during the Eid holidays. He appealed the consumers to avoid misuse of electricity for making the electric supply system more and more stable.
