Wahid Hussain defends PhD thesis

PARACHINAR: A research scholar of the Department of Botany, University of Peshawar, Wahid Hussain defended his PhD thesis on Monday.
In this regard a function was held at the video conference hall of the university in which he defended his thesis by answering the questions of the audience in a proper way.
His thesis was about the advantages of medicinal plants and problems of their conservation in Upper Kurram district which he completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Lal Badshah.
Wahid Hussain is currently serving as assistant professor at the Government Post-Graduate College Parachinar and the only scholar from the area to have earned the PhD degree in the field of Botany.
