HEC appoints Dr Mazhar as approved supervisor

TIMRRGARA: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has appointed Dr Mazhar Ahmad, Assistant Professor at the Department of Pashto, University of Malakand (UoM) as approved supervisor in the discipline of arts and humanities for a period of three years.
According to a notification issued by the HEC office in Islamabad, Dr Mazhar Ahmad would supervise at a time a total of 12 students including 7 MS/M.Phil and 5 PhD students.
Dr Mazhar Ahmad would provide academic guidance and practical support to students besides ensuring timely completion of the HEC scholars degrees, the notification reads.
Meanwhile, research scholars at the department of Pashto at UoM have expressed their satisfaction over appointment of Dr Mazhar Ahmad as HEC approved supervisor.
Talking to this scribe via phone M. phil research scholars at the department of Pashto at UoM, Naeem Jan Adil, Ikramullah, Hanifullah, Sabir Khan and Adnan Khan appreciated the HEC decision saying they were happy because a supervisor play significant role to guide his students in selection of area of research.
Dr Mazhar Ahmad is immensely cooperative person and he is a role model for all of us and definitely we will enjoy to complete our research under his kind supervision, they added.
