Ayub Zakori participates in Invest Connect Event

PESHAWAR: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) organized the Invest Connect Event (ICE25), which brought together global investors, industry leaders, and ecosystem enablers to discuss the evolving role of incubators in fostering entrepreneurial success.

Moderated by Ayub Khan Zakori, CEO, Zakori Group, the panel discussion focused on the topic, “Incubators as Catalysts for Startup Success: Beyond Seed Funding”. The discussion examined how incubators extend their impact far beyond initial investment.

The distinguished panel featured Zulfiqar Ahmad, CEO, Innovation Lab, Maria Carolina from Switzerland, Prof Dr Sohail Naqvi, CEO, Knowledge Streams, Dr Talat Mahmood, CEO, Bridge2Pakistan, Asim Ishaq Khan, Project Director, NIC, and Zeeshan Khattak, Commissioner, SECP.

The dialogue revolved around the adaptability of incubators in rapidly evolving markets, particularly in Pakistan, where entrepreneurs face both unique challenges and promising opportunities. The panelists emphasized that incubators must serve as long-term partners in fostering innovation, bridging the gap between the startups and sustainable growth.

Addressing the participants, Ayub Zakori highlighted the critical role of public-private partnerships in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem, ensuring that incubators not only provide funding but also facilitate access to networks and investors.

The session resonated with attendees, sparking discussions on collaborative efforts to drive innovation and economic progress in the country.
