OSP organizes int’l conference on eye health

PESHAWAR: The Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan (OSP) Peshawar chapter arranged the 46th National Congress and 16th Khyber EyeCon in association with Pakistan Glaucoma Association at a local hotel on February 7-9, 2025.
The 3-day mega conference brought together leading ophthalmologists, health care professionals and researchers to discuss the latest advancements in eye care, vision sciences and ophthalmic innovations.
During the event, more than 700 eye specialists participated from across the country and the UK, Spain and Indonesia to talk about various ocular diseases, and shared their knowledge and experiences.
The topics of the presenters included cataract, retinal diseases, refractive surgery, pediatric ophthalmology and glaucoma management. The event also hosted pre-conference workshops including vitreo-retina workshop at Khyber Teaching Hospital, glaucoma workshop at Hayatabad Medical Complex, and refractive surgery at Laser Vision Center.
