19th syndicate meeting of UET Mardan held

MARDAN: The 19th meeting of the Syndicate of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan held under the chairmanship of Prof Dr Imran Khan, Vice Chancellor, UET Mardan here on Friday.
The attendees included; Justice (R) Irshad Qaiser, Nominee of Peshawar High Court, Prof Dr Jamil Ahmad, Nominee of HEC, Riaz Muhammad, Deputy Secretary, HED, Wardah Latif, Deputy Secretory, Finance Department, Muhammad Irfan Usman, Deputy Secretory, Establishment Department, Dr Sadaqat Jan, Prof, Department of Computer Software Engineering, Dr Ibrar Ali Shah, Chairman, Department of Computer Software Engineering, Dr Murtaza Ali, Registrar, Engr Sajjad Ali, Treasurer, Dr Muhammad Abbas Mehmood, Associate Prof, Department of Natural Sciences and Humanities, Dr Jalal Khan, Assistant Prof, Department of Telecom Engineering, Abdul Hafeez, Deputy Director Budget, Irshad Ali, Deputy Director (Audit), and Murad Ali Khan, Deputy Controller of Examination.
The meeting addressed several critical matters focused on effective financial management, quality of education and strategic planning to ensure the university’s fiscal stability and future growth.
Furthermore, the Syndicate thoroughly reviewed and granted approval to the recommendations put forth by the Finance and Planning Committee and Academic Council regarding financial sustainability and strengthening the quality of education and research at the university.
The Syndicate meeting also exemplified the commitment of the university’s leadership and stakeholders to drive progress and development.
