NOWPDP holds training for special children

ISLAMABAD: The Network of Organizations Working for Persons with Disabilities Pakistan (NOWPDP) arranged a training for children with hearing impairment here the other day.
The CEO of the network, Rameez invited the Chairman Mahboob Medical Institute Peshawar Dr Mahboob-ur-Rahman as a special guest on the occasion.
Dr Mahboob offered assessment and diagnostic facility for these children that the MMI’s team of physiotherapists, speech therapist and audiologist would visit the center for facilitation.
The NOWPDP’s CEO appreciated the good gesture of the Chairman MMI and said that they supported such activities and initiatives for special people in need.
It merits to mention here that the NOWPDP established in 2008 as a disability inclusion initiative, and operates in the areas of education and economic stability.
The NOWPDP’s vision is to ensure the access of each and every person with a disability to equal opportunities, and awareness about their rights and benefits. It strives to work across Pakistan to create an inclusive society through holistic and sustainable programs by ensuring empowerment and success of all persons with disabilities.
