Teachers poor performance results failure of students

TAKHT BHAI, MARDAN: The locals have demanded strict departmental action against the Government Girls High School Ganjai teachers as their poor performance resulted failure of all the 9th standard students.
Addressing a press conference at Takht Bhai Press Club here the other day, chairman village council Takkar Mushtaq Ahmed, Haji Imtiaz, Qari Arshad, Usman Khan and Ashfaq Khan showed deep concerns over the worst ever recent matric results of the BISE Mardan.
They said, “This year, all the students of 9th grade of the Government Girls High School Ganjai have failed which is not only regrettable, but also shameful for the school teachers and the education department.”
“Despite our efforts by asking the Education Department, the high officials have not appointed science teachers in the school,” they regretted, and added, “Similarly, the teachers, clerks and class four staff in the school who receive a large sum of salary from the government but did not halt doing their personal works during official duty hours.”
They demanded the higher officials of the education department to take immediate notice of the poor situation of the Government Girls High School Ganjai and transfer or suspend all the staff of the school to avoid further defamation of the school’s name and the higher authorities.
