Cisco networking academy launched at BRAINS Institute

PESHAWAR: The digital transformation had become the need of the hour for every organization to perform at par with global institutions that’s why embracing digitalization was imperative for all businesses – from a small firm to a large enterprise, said Syed Saadat Hussain Shah – a renowned politician and businessman while addressing the launching ceremony of the Cisco Int’l Networking Academy & Support Center and Instructor Training Center at BRAINS Institute here on Friday.
He participated in the launching event as the Chief Guest and visited the newly established class rooms and labs of the Cisco networking academy. The function was marked by participation of youth, representatives from Cisco academies and professionals from both the public and corporate sector organizations.
“The setting up of Cisco Int’l Networking Academy & Support Center and Instructor Training Center will provide a host of opportunities for educational institutions of both the public and private sectors. On behalf of local community, I really admire and support such initiatives which will pave a way for promoting innovative digital technologies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and I congratulate BRAINS Institute for taking this enduring initiative,” he added.
In association with the Cisco country office, Cisco Int'l Networking Academy & Support Center of BRAINS Institute would be an IT skills development and career building program for different institutions, said Zafar Ullah Khan, Rector, BRAINS Institute and CEO, Cisco Int’l Networking Academy & Support Center.
During his address, he stated that the Cisco networking academy would not only integrate the existing networking academies but would also develop new digital learning centers for both the public and private sector organizations in KP, including educational institutions and corporate entities.
“The Cisco training program envisions to equip the youth and students with newest knowledge to succeed in making their place on the right side of digital divide, while this joint initiative of Cisco and BRAINS Institute will develop highly skilled workforce and prepare the future leaders through access to advanced technology,” added Zafar Ullah Khan.
During the concluding session of the event, Syed Saadat Hussain Shah, the Chief Guest also distributed certificates among the passing out students of NAVTTC training program, who have recently completed different technical and vocational training courses from BRAINS Institute.
