Dr Liaqat Ali promoted as professor

PESHAWAR: Internationally acclaimed urologist, medical educationist and researcher Dr Liaqat Ali has been promoted to the post of professor.
A notification issued here on Monday, states that Dr Liaqat Ali, Associate Professor (BPS-19), Department of Urology, Institute of Kidney Diseases, Hayatabad Medical Complex/Khyber Girls Medical College, has been promoted to the post of Professor (BPS-20).
It is to mention here that for the last 25 years he has been serving the ailing humanity. He has the credit to publish more than 70 research papers in national and international journals and arranged 30 plus educational workshops, symposia and conferences during the last 3 years.
Apart from this, he is also a poet and book author. His Urdu poetry collection, titled ‘Sooraj Se Guftagoo’ has been published in 2021, while his three other books; Atlas of Urology, Ilm-ul-Huroof, and Pakistan Journal of Urology, are going to be published this year.
